Personally I am not going to purchase any more Chinese-made tools, especially after using these Wiha pliers. They are Swiss made, CVM tool steel, beautifully polished and chrome plated. This a real professional quality tool that quickly will become a favorite in your tool box and last a lifetime. At 8" long they are just right for getting into those hard to reach places like installing trim inside recessed lighting. The tool is well balanced but hefty with enough leverage to apply great force should you require it. The pliers I have look essentially like the Amazon photo but also have a curved section on both jaws (with teeth) so you can grip round objects up to 1" in diameter. So moving down the jaws from the nose towards the handle you have a flat section with teeth for about 1 1/8", a smooth flat section of about 3/4", the rounded tooth section similar to adjustable pliers, and then the side cutters, making them quite versatile. Go with Wiha, you will not be disappointed.
