OK, after a solid year in my posession, i have noticed some definite downsides to this multi-tool, some of which came from overestimating my own needs in a pocket knife/tool.
Gerber's one-handed plier design is great, but it is a pain to have to deploy the pliers to get to the other tools. Its size, compact as it is, is still a deterrent to truly everyday use (this won't really fit in a pocket) and its weight is noticable (and annoying) in my work vest. The included holster/sheath is handy, but again, the weight of the tool pulls on my pants... a rather unbecoming accessory.
As a multitool, it is solid and the one real fault I find with it is the fact that (unlike Leatherman multitools and Swiss Army knives) you need to flip out the pliers to get to all the other tools. I am looking forward to many more years of use, but I will use a swiss army knife as my "daily" multitool.
