These pliers weigh just over an ounce and are as capable as the other reviewers say they are! In addition to my shop, I keep a set in my backpacking first aid kit so they go almost everywhere with me. Together with my Super Tinker Swiss army knife they weigh less than 5 ounces and can do everything a 9 oz multi-tool can do except perhaps cut wire. You'll have a tool for each hand so you can easily tighten a screw + nut combination. The pliers can handle up to a 1/4-20 nut or pull a cactus spine out of your boot. Add a set to your purse or fanny pack.
