I received the pliers in a timely manner. They worked well. I had a heavy chandelier with a fairly thick chain, and regular pliers just marked up the finish and didn't close the link. I couldn't have installed the chandelier myself without this tool. It worked well (no marring) and it worked quickly. The right tool for the job.Customer Review: Good tool for the job.

Tried everything else to adjust heavy metal link on a chandelier. In short nothing worked. Tried multiple stores to find chain pliers. I was shocked ot only to find that none had chain pilers, much less every heard of them. This product is good for the price, did the job in minutes. They did mar the nickel plate chain a bit, but you can only tell close up. Over all a good product.Customer Review: Great idea, hope it works well when I need it.

If you've ever hung a chandelier, you know how frustrating it can be changing the chain length by bending the loops with a regular pair of pliers. Even more of a struggle is getting the loops back rogether again without marring the finish or pinching the skin of your palm! This tool makes the job easy; just place the loop on the outside of the plier jaws and squeeze to open the loop. To close the loop, place the loop inside the jaws and squeeze. Presto, back together again with no marring or cursing! Makes life a whole lot easier if you use a lot of decorative chain. I've used other chain pliers that are heavier duty, but this one works fine. Great tool!Customer Review: Thanks Amazon!

In my early days in the electrical trade I worked with a journeyman that had a pair of these and was shocked how simple they made the installation of any kind of chain hung light fixture.
I started looking for a pair of these a couple of years ago and couldn't find them anywhere.
Thanks Amazon for cutting my installation time and giving me the ability to install light fixtures without destroying the finish with a pair of pliers! Now I can have apprentices amazed at the handy tools I carry also.
